Our History

In 1961, John W. and Richard P. Jahnke formed the partnership of Jahnke & Jahnke to provide consulting services in civil engineering, land surveying, and municipal planning. Their goal was to offer comprehensive services to both governmental units and private individuals, ensuring that clients could rely on a single firm for their diverse needs. Over the years, this combination of experience and education has proven invaluable to various entities.

The firm has been responsible for the design, engineering, and layout of over 350 subdivisions, comprising more than 15,000 lots. Notable projects include developments in the Town of Delafield, Village of Sussex, Pewaukee, City of Waukesha, Mukwonago, and the Town of Ottawa. Industries such as QuadGraphics, RTE, International Harvester, Wisconsin Centrifugal, Marcus Corporation, and HUSCO have utilized the firm's services for site planning and development across various locations.

The partnership grew into Jahnke & Jahnke Associates, expanding to a staff of over thirty-five engineers, planners, and technicians with six field crews. The firm's commitment to quality service for individuals, governmental bodies, businesses, and industrial entities remains steadfast, guided by professional ethics and a dedication to their profession.
